Ana yawan zargin cewa almajirai, da Yesu ya gaya masa game da tashinsa na gabatowa, kawai ba zai iya yarda cewa wannan zai iya zama da gaske ƙarshe; don haka suka ruɗi kansu su gaskata cewa Yesu yana da rai har yanzu. Duk da haka, wannan ya yi hannun riga da shaidar Sabon Alkawari, kamar yadda aka tattauna a kasa.

Almajiran ba sa tsammanin tashin matattu.
a) Linjila a koyaushe suna gaya mana haka, ko da yake Yesu ya annabta mutuwarsa da tashinsa daga matattu, Almajiran gaba ɗaya sun kasa fahimtar abin da yake faɗa kuma ba su gaskata labarin ba sa’ad da suka ji (misali. Mat 16:21-3, 17:22-3, 20:17; Mk 16:11,13,14; Lk 24:11,25; Jn 2:19, 16:16-32, 20:2,25).
b) Almajiran sun ɗauki Yesu a matsayin Almasihu (Kristi) Jn 1:49, Jn 6:69, Mat 16:16 [Mk 8:27, Lk 9:20], Jn 11:27, Lk 24:21. Matsalar ita ce, kamar yadda yahudawa gabaɗaya har zuwa yau, ra'ayinsu game da Almasihu shine mai ceto mai nasara wanda zai 'yantar da ƙasarsa daga zalunci na ƙasashen waje. Zuwa tunanin Yahudawa, Matattu ba Almasihu ba ne ko kaɗan. Yesu’ mutuwa ta yi watsi da tsammaninsu kuma ta tabbatar da su ba daidai ba. Shi ya sa almajirai biyu suka ruɗe a kan hanyar Imuwasu, duk da cewa sun riga sun ji labarin matan (Lk 24:17-24).
c) Ko da yake akwai 'yan mu'ujizai daga matattu da aka rubuta a cikin Tsohon Alkawali, gaba ɗaya tsoro cikin Yesu’ rana, kamar yadda a cikin namu, shi ne cewa matattu ba su dawo da rai ba. Musamman, ko da yake Yesu ya ta da matattu biyu da kansa, ba a tava tashe kowa ba face ta hanyar wasiƙar annabi maɗaukaki – kuma annabinsu ya rasu: babu wanda ya tava tayar da kansa.
d) Damuwar matan ita ce ba su da lokacin da za su yi wa Yesu jana’iza mai kyau (Ba a cire gawar ba har zuwa maraice, kamar yadda muka gani a baya). Sun kwashe lokacinsu a karshen mako suna shirya kayan yaji don su gama aikin idan ranar Asabar ta ƙare (Mk 16:1, Lk 23:56-24:1).

a) Ko da yake tunanin Yahudawa na al'ada yana kula da ruhu, rai da jiki a matsayin hadedde duka, Sadukiyawa kuma sun ƙaryata game da kowane yiwuwar rayuwa ta ruhaniya dabam ko ta tashin matattu, Farisawa, wanda Yesu ya goyi bayan wannan batu, ya yarda cewa ruhun ya tsira bayan mutuwa. Tsohon Alkawari ya ƙunshi labarin faɗa tsakanin Sarki Saul da ruhun Sama’ila (1 Sam 28:11-9). Wannan imani kuma yana bayyana cikin Yesu’ misalin Dives da Li'azaru (Lk 16:19-31). Ana iya kawo wasu misalan kuma.
b) Bishara ta nuna cewa almajirai’ own thoughts tended naturally to this type of interpretation. We can see this in the account of Jesus walking on the water; where the first assumption they are stated to have made was that they were seeing a spirit (Mat 14:26 [Mk 6:49, Lk 24:37]). Hakazalika, we have the account of the transfiguration, where Jesus is seen conversing with Moses and Elijah (Mat 17:3 [Mk 9:4, Lk 9:30]). (The point to note here is that, irrespective of what you make of the miraculous events described, they still give us an insight into the way they thought.)
