Lenei itulau faʻaaoga a “Igilisi Faigofie” tusitusiga.
I le tele o tausaga toʻatele tagata na taumafai e fesiligia faʻamatalaga faʻasolopito e uiga ia Iesu. E masani ona tusia e tagata tusi e uiga ia Iesu. The content is arranged using the following general topics:
- The authenticity of the Christian texts.
- Can we trust the sacred Christian texts?
- The integrity of the witnesses.
- Should we believe what the gospel writers say? Some people say that they invented parts of their story.
- Non-Christians will not say that Jesus came back from the dead. But this section looks at the available evidence. It is exactly the kind of evidence that we should expect to find.
- Na Maliu Moni Iesu?
- Some suggest that Jesus didn’t really die on the cross. But is this suggestion consistent with the evidence? We examine the details of Jesus’ crucifixion. We also examine the circumstances of Jesus’ burial.
- O Lipoti o le Toetu
- Takes a close look at the accounts of the resurrection morning. Are these genuine eyewitness reports? Or are they later inventions?
- The Resurrection Reports – Continued.
- Jesus appeared to his disciples many times after this. This section examines those occasions. Was Jesus’ body brought back to life?
- O Le Mea Taua.
- How should we react to this?
We don’t want this to be a purely one-sided presentation of the case for Christianity. So we’ve tried to make the discussion more interesting. We would like to introduce our resident heckler and skeptic – Ivan I. Aila. (If you speak his name in English it sounds like, “I’ve an idea!"). For further discussion, click Ivan’s comments.

Much of the information presented here is not my original research. It draws upon many sources: books, articles, documentaries, personal correspondence, internet, ma isi. faitauina o le “tusi” so far it is a bit like someone has tried to summarise my own library! The idea of an interactive book is new to me. It does mean the reader has to read on line. And have the time to cross reference any points they haven’t met before. So far I guess I’m still at the digging out of the footings of the book’s foundations and a long way off the main proposition.
Tavita
Malo, Tavita! Faafetai mo au manatu. I originally wrote “Jesus Christ the History Maker” following a protracted and lively series of on-line discussions between Christians and non-Christians. When it was over, it seemed that it would be a shame to let all this go to waste: and I was mindful of the fact that there are a lot of folk for whom obtaining reliable source information is neither easy nor affordable. Afai e iai ni au fesili poʻo ni luʻitau e uiga i mea ua ou tusia, faʻamolemole lagona le saʻoloto i faʻamatalaga atili. Leai se log-in e manaomia. Faamanuia le atua, Kevin
