Ukungakwazi ukunyanzelwa uthando
Alikho igama lesiNgesi elakha lathotywa ngendlela eyingozi njengelithi ‘uthando.’ Xa lihlolisiswa ngenyameko, umbuzo, ‘Ukuba uThixo unamandla onke, kutheni engenako ukusenza sibe nothando ngakumbi?’ ijika ibe luhlobo lokuziphikisa okusengqiqweni.

Ndikhumbula iqhina elalisuka kudala ngeentsuku zam zeSikolweni sabaNtwana – elinye endilivile ngeendlela ezahlukeneyo kubantu abaninzi abadala nabakrelekrele.: ‘Ukuba uThixo unamandla onke, Ngaba unokudala ilitye elinzima kakhulu ukuba angaliphakamisa?’ Uninzi lwabantu luyasokola ngale nto. Ubume bothando
Zintanda, masithandane, ngokuba uthando lwaphuma kuThixo; Bonke abanothando bazelwe nguThixo, kwaye uyamazi uThixo. Lowo ungenaluthando akazanga amazi uThixo, ngokuba uThixo uluthando. (1Jn 4:7-8)
Wathi uYesu kuye, ” ‘Uze umthande uYehova uThixo wakho ngentliziyo yakho yonke, ngomphefumlo wakho wonke, nangengqondo yakho yonke.’ Lo ngumthetho wokuqala nomkhulu. ‘Agape‘ luthando olukulungeleyo ukupha nokuqhubeka lupha, kungakhathaliseki ukuba yiyiphi indleko kulowo unikelayo. Yindalo kaThixo esisiseko; isiseko kunye nemali yezulu. Ngaphandle kwayo, izulu alinakuba lizulu. Isichasi solu thando asiyontiyo: kukuzicingela nokungakhathali. Leyo yityhefu ebulalayo etshabalalisa uthando; yaye ke ngoko uThixo achase ngokungenakuphikiswa.
Kodwa ubuthathaka bendalo bothando - isiphene esibonakala sibangela ukuba abaninzi bakholelwe ukuba ukuzicingela yeyona ndlela ilula -, inokunyanzeliswa njani? Kukho ingxaki yokuziphatha kabini apha. Ukuba kukho umnyanzelisi, akayi kuthi umntu atyholwe ngokwenza oko ngenxa yeminqweno yakhe? Kwaye umntu unokwenza njani ngenxa yothando ngaphandle kokuba ukhululekile ukuzikhethela? Eyokuqala kule miba siza kuyixubusha kamva: kodwa ngoku, makhe sicinge ngesesibini.
Kutheni uthando lungaze lunyanzeliswe
Xa umntu esenza izinto zothando kuba esoyikiswe ngesohlwayo ukuba akenzi njalo; ayilothando olo: kodwa unomdla wobuqu. Ukuba baye baxhotyiswa kangangokuba ngokuzenzekelayo benze ngendlela enothando, ayilothando ngenene olo. Isenokuphumela kuluntu lweUtopian: kodwa basenokuba nje iirobhothi ezingacingiyo. Yaye ukuba bayayihlolisisa imeko baze bagqibe kwelokuba ukhetho lothando luya kubalungela bona ekugqibeleni, oko kukuzingca. Ekuphela kwezenzo zokwenene zothando kulapho abantu benza ukhetho olukhululekileyo noluqondayo ukuze kuzuze omnye, ngeendleko ezithile zobuqu kubo, ngenxa yexabiso abalibekayo phezu kweengcinga neemvakalelo zomnye.
Imibono yethu ye-Phony yaseZulwini
Sihlala sicinga ngokungazi ngeZulu ngokungathi yindawo apho yonke into ilungelelaniswe nolwaneliseko lwethu, kunokuba njengendawo yokuphumla yobumnandi. Akusayi kubakho kuxambulisana okanye kubusela, ukukhalaza okanye umona ngenxa yokuba zonke izinto esizifunayo ziya kubonelelwa. Akusayi kubakho kugula okanye ukudinwa, ngoko ke asiyi kuba nomsindo. Kuya kuhlala kukho imimangaliso emitsha yokujonga, ngoko asiyi kuba nesithukuthezi. Akuyi kubakho uMtyholi! (Ihip, hip horay!) Ngoko akusayi kubakho sihendo sokona kwakhona, uya khona?
Kodwa akukho lula ngolo hlobo. Ukuba bekunjalo, liphi ithuba lokuba sibonise uthando aluxabisileyo uThixo? Kutheni sinokulufuna ukholo oluhlala luhleli kunye nethemba elichazwe kulo 1Cor 13:13? Khumbula, UAdam wona kumyezo wase-Eden (Gen 3:1-8); noSathana ngokwakhe wona phambi koThixo, wakhutshelwa ngaphandle (Luk 10:18, Rev 12:7-9).
Inyaniso, izulu alikho ikhaya lomhlalaphantsi: yindawo yayo yentsebenziswano kunye nenkonzo - uluntu lothando - apho abo bakhonza kakuhle bawongwa ngezikhundla zokuthembana kunye noxanduva. Wababiza ke uYesu, wathi kubo, “Niyazi ukuba abo kuthiwa balawula iintlanga, bayazigagamela;, nabo bazizikhulu zazo benza ngegunya kuzo. Inyaniso kukuba, nokuba izinto zihamba kakuhle - xa mhlawumbi siphumle kwiholide elangeni - besiya kuba nzima ukuhamba usuku olunye ngaphandle kohlobo oluthile lwesono., ingcinga egxekayo okanye yokucingela isiqu sakho okanye impendulo ingena ngaphakathi! Sinethemba lokuba uThixo uya kukulungela ukumhoya ‘omncinane’ wethu’ izono: kodwa iSibhalo sityhila uThixo njengobungcwele obupheleleyo namandla kangangokuba nezithunywa zezulu kufuneka ziwakhusele amehlo azo.! (Isaiah 6:2-3). Kuya kufuna utshintsho olusisiseko kubuntu bethu ukuze kusenze sikufanelekele ukuhlala kwindawo enjalo.
Kufuneka Sizikhethele Ukuba Sifuna Ukuba Ngoobani Na
Ngeliphandle, sikude ekuqondeni ngenene ukuba ezo nguqu kufuneka zibe kude kangakanani na. Kanjalo, NguThixo unakho nje ‘phosa iswitshi’ kwaye usenze singakwazi ukwenza ukhetho olungalunganga kwakhona. KuYesu’ umzekeliso wesityebi noLazaro, isityebi siyambongoza uAbraham:
” Ndiyanibuza ke ngoko, utata, ukuba umthumele endlwini kabawo; kuba ndinabazalwana abahlanu, ukuze abangqine kubo, ukuze bangangeni nabo kule ndawo yentuthumbo.’ “Wathi uAbraham kuye, ‘BanoMoses nabaprofeti. Mabaphulaphule bona.’ “Uthe, 'Hayi, ubawo uAbraham, ukuba kuthe kwaya kubo ovela kwabafileyo, baya kuguquka.’ “Wathi kuye, ‘Ukuba abammameli uMoses nabaprofeti, abayi koyiseka, ukuba kuthe kwavuka bani kwabafileyo.’ ” (Lk 16:27-31)
Owona mbandela ubalulekileyo ngowokuba isityebi sasiphila kubunewunewu bokungakhathali kwiimfuno zabo babesingqongileyo.. Oku kwenzeka nangona kunjalo wonke umYuda wayefundiswe kwasebuntwaneni ukuba ihambo enjalo ayamkelekanga kuThixo. Ingcinga yesityebi yayinjalo, ‘Ngokuqinisekileyo, ukuba abantu babesazi ngokwenene ukuba oko kufundiswa yiBhayibhile kuyinyaniso, emva koko babeza kwenza into elungileyo.’ Kodwa uYesu usixelela ukuba eyona ngxaki asikokuba abayazi into abafanele bayenze: kodwa ukuba abakhathali ngokwenene. Ukunika ubungqina obungakumbi besohlwayo esibalindeleyo kunokuboyikisa abazalwana: kodwa ayisayi kubenza bathande ngakumbi.
